As part of its financial literacy strategy adopted on 30 September 2025, the Commission committed to launching an EU‑wide awareness‑raising campaign to complement and reinforce national efforts. A central element of this initiative is the network of national financial literacy ambassadors. Appointed by Member States, the ambassadors play an important role in promoting financial literacy at both national and EU level, engaging with the public and media, and helping citizens access reliable financial education resources and initiatives.
