Regulatory dialogues with the United Kingdom

The first meeting of the Joint EU-UK Financial Regulatory Forum (the Forum) between the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK) took place in London.

The Commission, on behalf of the EU, and the UK Treasury, on behalf of the UK, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a framework for financial services regulatory cooperation between the EU and the UK.

This MoU establishes a joint EU-UK financial regulatory forum, which will serve as a platform to facilitate structured dialogue on issues related to financial services.
