Biography

Karolina Opielewicz is a Member of the Management Board of Polish Chamber of Commerce, responsible for communication and projects supporting business development. She is actively working for SMEs, promoting the need of large companies to take responsibility for their smaller partners.

Karolina has been working at Polish Chamber of Commerce since 2008. Since 2016, she has been Deputy Director General. Since 2021, she has been a member of the management board. She initiated such activities of the Chamber as the establishment of the Targowa Creativity Center, the establishment of the ESG Committee, and the creation of the cross-border.pl platform in cooperation with Amazon.

On her initiative, the Polish Chamber of Commerce established the ESG School and undertook a number of other educational and development activities to support entrepreneurs in their green transformation.

Additionally, she is a member of the Board of Directors and Budgetary Committee of Eurochambres. Since 2024, she has been elected Vice-President of the Sustainable Development Committee within Eurochambres.

Karolina is a member of many working groups at the national and European level dealing with sustainable development, i.a. POLSIF, Chapter Zero Poland, and the Sustainable Finance Platform at the Polish Ministry of Finance.
