The European Commission organised a series of events under the EU Pavilion in the framework of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP28), which is taking place from 30 November until 12 December 2023 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This year, the Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA) organised side events on Monday 4 December, the day dedicated to discussions on finance, trade, gender equality and accountability. The events focused on recent developments in the area of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) ratings, corporate sustainability reporting, transition finance, the usability and further development of the EU taxonomy, as well as the work of the International Platform on Sustainable Finance (IPSF), of which the EU is a member.
