Workshop on the implementation of the Instant Payments Regulation

To facilitate a common understanding of the provisions of the Instant Payments Regulation and to assist payment service providers (PSPs) in their efforts to begin implementation work as early as possible, the Commission organised an online implementation workshop. During the workshop we provided answers to the questions we received when we sent out the invitations to this event.

The workshop focused on the interpretation of legal provisions and obligations laid down in the Instant Payments Regulation, and not on questions that deal purely with technical aspects or internal adjustments that are needed to comply with the obligations.
