Commission Decision of 5 September 2024 on the financing of the implementation of the pilot project for “Embarking companies and stakeholders into the European sustainability reporting journey” and the adoption of the work programme for 2024.

The European Union’s annual budget for the financial year 2024, included a provision of EUR 3 240 000 for the implementation of a pilot project intended to enhance the due process of developing sustainability reporting standards so that they achieve their overriding objectives while being easy to apply for companies, without unnecessary administrative requirements and costs. Commission Decision C(2024)6071 and the annex thereto act as the necessary financing Decision and work programme for the implementation of this pilot project.
